Talk about a mass production oops!

If they're dumping THAT many (whatever) then someone did something wrong somewhere.

Probably a blond receptionist taking an order and accidentally hit the wrong key lol.

I am at least going to do a Sheet-O-Tweeters in each back door of the van. Worked it out and I can do 2 sheets of 6 x 15 tweets, 2 sheets a side...that will give me ~1.25ohm stereo. That and a DD C2a should do the trick :-)

Connected 4 of them series-parallel and set up an X-over ~6k @ 6db/oct and yea....they are loud

Just need to order some small caps to wire up the X-overs in vehicles. Anyone know where I can get some 4.7uF caps? I can get em pretty cheap thru Xscorpion, but would like to see if I can get em cheaper.

Just ordered 2000 myself. I simply couldn't pass it up. Even if I can only sell them for $.50 each on Ebay that's still a good profit. Say 4 shipped for $4.50?

When you take into consideration the free Fedex shipping I see these as almost a giveaway.

Crazy!

lol. i did it the dumb way and ordered $10 worth and paid $30 shipping. should be in before too long. I just don't have time to try to sell em, plus you know the market (ebay included) is gonna be flooded with em. lol

Agreed. But sometimes you need to hold onto an investment before it pays off. Eventually they will vanish off the market like those ED 8's did I bought so many of. They were only $5 each. Now you can't find them. Ahhem, except the two I have left lol.

Even only a year from now if I have 500 or so of these left it will be like the 1/0ga power wire I sold for $2/ft. Grab them when they're cheap. And at $.05 a piece shipped, it won't get cheaper than that.

Well they are but JK had dibbs on them like 2 months ago? I guess his plans fell through? They both would fit in a large flat rate USPS shipping box which is $15.95 I believe? Give me my cost at $5 each on top of shipping and they're yours. Just let me know.

P.S. My tweets shipped today.

Assuming that there are 2000 tweets (1000 pair) and you sell them at 4.50 shipped and shipping is $.50 out of your profit, that would be a $900 profit.

Still not sure if its 2000 tweets or 2000 pairs of tweets

It's 2000 total tweets. At $.05/pc shipped like I said it's a no brainer. Shipping them would be $1 and change?? Maybe? So I sell the pair for $4.50. $1.25 ships them using USPS let's say(guessing). Another $1.50 for fees. That's $1.65 in profit off the pair after you take into account the $.10 investment. Multiply that by 1000 pairs and that's..........$1,650 profit.

Ok, so it would take eons of time to push and sell 1000 pairs but you get the idea. Even if you sell them in batches of 20 you'll still make $$$.

There are many speaker builders out there who wouldn't think twice in dropping $5 on a decent pair of tweets. It's not even worth their time in gas to go to the store and buy them locally.

I've been thinking about this year's Xmas deal. With this many on hand it opens the door to possible combo deals. If you could find a decent priced 6" woofer it would make a nice kit. Sell it for $20?
