I'm just wondering, because I have a solaris that I actually don't really use at all. Mostly because it's not in my livingroom as I replaced that box with a kbox. So I took out the nfusion to put the kbox there. I'm surprised you would actually sell a kbox to get an nfusion box, unless you mostly watch VOD channels that kbox doesnt have right now. |

Kbox has few less english channels but is by far the most stable ..less freezing, they only put up what is stable. what we have seen is about once a week or so there is server maintanence for few hours. |

Platinum Member Username: PlymouthCanada Post Number: 10672 Registered: Jan-08 | sump Sorry but many time KBox was down for upgrade servers, but I don't think this reason is the real reason, I think they take more time than NFusion to trace new route blocked by Internet provider, NFusion is never down 1 day complete and are able to recover a new IP server than any other. So if you live in Canada and don't need international channels NFusion is much more interesting.  |

I would love to help as many others have help me over the years .. I test c@@lsat 6000, Nova, Phoenix and Kbox prodigy I do sell Kbox as i am sump99 on fleebay u may ckeck on me as a seller, but have better deals on kboxsales.com i am watching i think channel 138 and have experienced couple 1=2 sec delays tonight. the newer v2 hubs are much better, and Pordigy is the kbox to buy. I have no problem with Nfusion, i would only sell the phoenix though |

I'd had a kbox for a long time now and I can't say I've ever experienced this downtime in the past month or two. If they take the server down for an hour or two, it has to be 3am to 4am, because this is just not common in my experience and people at my place watch tv all different hours. So I'm not sure if your mistaken or possible they are taking it down for maintenance those hours? Kbox did have their server down and when it was back up there was freezing for over 24 hours of either out or freezing, which is the first time I"ve experienced this with kbox. As it was posted I've never seen this with nfusion being down that long and then freezing for that period of time, so I agree completely that nfusion is down and up quicker, but they have more of a freezing issue more often. My other solaris box freezes every now and then on certain channels, while I've gone weeks, months without skipping a beat on the kbox. Kbox had their system down for maintence before, but it's been such a short period of time and when it came back up, more chanels were added .......... not back up and freezing like this did this time. Glad though everything is back to working perfectly |

Bronze Member Username: SumpEast coast USA Post Number: 55 Registered: Aug-09 | james for the last few weeks/month about once a week it has been down .. this time was about 16 hours much longer than any time before recently ..maybe it was to make sure the UFC would be perfect ? asia is in a differant time zone than us also our night is thier day so that could be something too, In the loader it displayed that it was down for maintence.. I run both kbox pro w V2 hub and Phoenix came from nova that came from c@@lsat 6000 i never used old khub .. only what i read in other forums ..there are differant serial #'s .. i see problems with some .. the size is much differant in the picure older is larger and needed power, i would think that with that the whole setup is different inside. altimatly the hubs are just serial to ethernet converters. I would expect the new boxes will have ethernet built in like nfusion all the iks boxes. I have sold iHubs and the Khub is very similar in size. some of this is only my opinion so take it as you may ... I just spent last few hours watching tv and no freezing at all on kbox ..we shall see Kbox has definatly gone after the international market with the channels they have up on the 118.7 sat |
