New member Username: Heather2414Post Number: 1 Registered: Sep-09 | I have just gotten my CD player into my car,worked fine for a few weeks after my uncle put it in.Then it started showing that ER-3 and make a noise that sounded like the speakers were going out,I have looked everywhere over the net I can't find out what could be causing it.We think it could be a loose wire cause it still works only for a few minutes and then it will make that noise and stop working either for a few hours or it will take days to work again,my uncle and grandfather have miss placed the tools to get the CD player out,if someone could tell me where I could buy the tools to get the CD out please I really want my CD working again............. |

Gold Member Username: RegroosterPost Number: 1824 Registered: Aug-08 | The method to extract the player will depend on the make and model. see here http://www.fitaudio.com/ If special extraction tools are required try Ebay If your radio is one of the common DIN types then look at this video demo using the correct extractors http://www.fitaudio.com/videos/din_keys_guide/video_din_size.html Alternatives are 2 pieces of bent , wire coathanger or 4 x small drills(use the blunt ends) or 4 x small Allen Keys or 4 x small screwdrivers or 4 x nails or even 4 x darts. An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips |
