I have 39 inch an antenna on Galaxy 19 at 97W.
I would like to move it to AMC-6 at 72W.

I live in Quebec city area and I wonder if I will receive AMC-6. According to the spot beam map on Lyngsat yes I will receive it but can anyone confirm ?

Can anyone tell me if Encuentro is visible in pure FTA on 11643V with 3340 s.r. and 3/4 FEC ?

Oooopss..... I missed the existing post on 72W below sorry guys.

But my real interest is Encuentro that is supposed to be in the clear DVB with no encryption.

It was a real headache getting it on Hispasat because it was low in signal compared to the others.

Sorry Plymouth you are correct. I read more about the beam in the Encuentro PDF document. Only South America indeed.

Any suggestions anyone for Spanish speaking FTA ? I cannot go past 100W (100 to 145) since obstructed by forest but I have clear sky for satellites 0 to 100W

I already have Hispasat.

The best one 123.0W but you not get it.

Hispasat 30W still have the much Spanish channels, few channels on Telstar 12 15W then AMC-4 101W also.

Yes like Chumley says it's live in Quebec city, it cost me 6$ Cdn for take the bus for me and my wife, a friend give me his pass.

Last year for the 400's years of the city we had Paul McCarthney and Celine Dion for free, it was a great show too.

Bring an umbrella Plymouth. There is a line of thunderstorms that might hit Les Plaines later on tonight but it is a thin line so it will only last 10 minutes or so.

Kiss, Jonas and Styx are not of my age. Paul McCartney is !

Wait until 2011. We will have an Opera festival here. What a man mayor Labeaume is. He really moves on !!!

What a show from Kiss, it was great not for the sound but for the visual.

I just look at environnement Canada before the show and the sky was clear after 19:00H, no rain at all.

Labeaume is a great mayor like Drapeau in Montreal.
