I have four phoenix gold rsd 12's. The problems is four of them calls for 8 cf ported and that will take up all my trunk with the phoenix gold xenon 200.4 for the highs and a mtx 81000d for a little while for the bass (later to be upgraded to another amp). Doing this really wont produce the best spl results and I need it to because i plan on competing in meca amateur street 2. So what i found to be a compromise is go sealed at 1cf each 12 and then port it with a aero port for more spl. I am putting this in a 1995 ford taurus trunk car and im going to unbolt the back seat since im allowed to fold it down this way in meca. By the way my new amp I get replacing the mtx 81000d will put out at least 2 times more power if not more. (im shopping) I also got an adjustable voltage regulator and a phoenix gold bass cube for the comps. (the adjustable regulator will come in handy most for bass race events I compete in) I also got diamond hex 5.25 components that are going in. (I cant wait to hear them)

Thanks. I meant I would go sealed daily and add the port in when I had a comp to go to.

I want a system I can play after the comps Kevin and not have to swap out boxes. Ill see how the comps go and maybe if need be ill go for spl boxes.
