Saturday, June 20, 2009 - 08:00 GMT i got two 12" orion xtr pros 500watts rms each 4 ohms. i plan on running them at a one ohm load. wat ur guys opinion on this subs?

Saturday, June 20, 2009 - 18:27 GMT i dont think you can run them at 1 ohm i think you can only run a 2 ohm load with D4s you gotta have D2s to run a 1ohm load. I think it goes like this if im wrong please correct me. 4ohm coils-8 ohms and 2 ohms 2ohm coils-4 ohms and 1 ohm 1ohm coils-2 ohms and .5 ohms

Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 06:13 GMT ok i see i mis read i thought it was 1 sub my bad i didnt see that make sure the amp is 1 ohm stable so you dont over heat and possibly fry it.

Sunday, June 21, 2009 - 06:50 GMT what amp,? they are somewhat of an older sub. They will handle a lil more that 500 on each w/o any problem.. I liked my old pair. I remember them being a lil punchy but that was a long time and many many systems ago.

Tuesday, June 30, 2009 - 01:02 GMT i got them on a hifonics brutus 1210d at 1 ohm. its beating alot harder than my old system ( which was two 12" kicker cvr). ill be upgrading my amp in the future but its straight for now
