Bronze Member Username: DomenicoGlendale, AZ USA Post Number: 30 Registered: Apr-09 | So...i decided to build my first box. The box will be in the extened cab of my 1999 Dodge Dakota RT. "Willing to remove back seat" The subs im planning on using are 4 12inch type r's. [swr 1242d] Ported box of course. I dont really know much about building about, thats why im here... so can i have a list of materials that ill need to get this job done..right! "haha" Tips would be great, alot of tips. The cutting and sh!t shouldnt be a problem, seems really d@amn easy but measurements!!! i dont know where to begin with em. i know certant subs need a certant cubic ft. with the box having 4 subs in it i dont know how to figure it out. Yes, im a noob when it comes to boxes... So to sum it alllll up, could someone caulculate the dimensions of a rectanglura ported sub box thatll hold 4 12inch alpine type r's SWR-1242D then list the materials needed for the project. Thanks - Domenico |
