Yea, Kenwood is a pretty good brand don't u think?

and yes I know some of the reviews say that they break kinda easy but my friend has one of these and his has lasted him 2+ years.

Nah, I'm not building a box...I'm buying a ported box though...

*The reason I made this post is to make sure that this subwoofer and amp are compatible with each other....any answers???

Which one of these amps would be best?
(compatibility and performance wise)

Or if you guys have any suggestions within the price range of $100-150
that would be helpful too.

Don't get my response wrong. You made a great match up. That amp will power that sub "as designed".

If it fits your budget then run with it.

It's just Kenwood is not ranked as an upper end equipment supplier. At least as far as underground standards go. Hell I ran 2 12" Kenwoods years ago in my own box and loved them

Then again that was 10 years ago.

Stay away from mainstream stuff (sh!t you buy from the store) and try to buy something used but in good shape from a reputable seller on a forum. You will have a chance to grab something 1/2 way decent maybe save some more money.... JMHO..

do you care about sound quality at all or are you just trying to get loud? also do you have any friends or know anyone good with woodworking? 9 times out of 10 it will make it sound better if you don't use a prefab box.
