They're scared to go to the new cards this will create a screaching halt to IKS. They are caught up in a delima! Cards will create a massive piracy uprising as card sharing will be wide open again!
This will cause lots of bins to be disabled!
IKS(Uncle Ruperts pipe dream) will not be needed as people will be doing their own cards without the need for an internet connection!
Soo which should they do, forget the card switch and save the bins or give the pirates control of their demise?
I think they will not do the cards at all. Just keep things as they are. IKS only kills a few bins and the remqaining STBers will not be able to aquire them for free...
Thus Uncle Rupert (IKS)can have his cake and eat it too!
The NAG3 fix is coming this will allow all the STBs to remain the same!!
Rico Viewsat is one of best true FTA receiver with the best blindscan and best control in usals mode with motorized dish, best interface with all settings available.
Now your getting funny that aluminum foil trick is still good to make sure your not pointed at the wrong sat.
I assumed he was tring to get 119 but was focused on 110 &101
The files were changed to allow you to get each individually now with all the different settings..
Some people would get 500 channels from both sats with a single scan and they were never in order! then came channel master 187 so every one would not have to do soo much renaming!!
After soo many complaints they started to scan and send a list of channels along with each file! This calmed the masses for a while but I saw right off what they were giving me was not all I wanted.
So I elected to go back to blind scan after deleting all channels.I dont worry about repeates or channel order anymore.
I have found if I do 110 first then 121 everything comes togeather in dn order and my locals get renamed correctly..
The new bins started showing inactive transponders to buffalo the motorized dishes.
We only had to blind scan to overcome this hurdle.
Blind scan assures active transponder and right before a main event so you needed to do that if you wanted to catch it.
Heres a post of where Plymouth explains the importance of the blind scan when I was a newbe back in 06 <i;-)
