After sat setup for 82 I got only 59 channels most of chinese. No indian channel. Also not getting CBN.

Am I missing some thing during channels scan. I do have 87% quality signals.

1. On your remote push menu, then installation, then channel scan
2. Go down to Add TP push OK then add the Frequency, Polarization, and Symbol Rate
3. Scroll down to Search Channel and push OK and it will search the transponder you just added

find freq for ur channels and hit the search button is easiest way to find channels.

below is for individual channels..
try the obove mehod first, its fast..

If you want to manually add a channel to a transponder, go to the transponder and you would push OK then on Add Channel push OK and put in the channel name, video pid, audio pid and pcr pid, then down to Add Channel and push OK to save it.

If you don't know how to read the transponder or channel pid info from lyngsat here is how
Let's use echostar 7 (119W) for an example:
Go to lyngsat*com and then to echostar 7 @119W and scroll down to 12239 L
On the circular satellites R (right) = Vertical and L (left) = Horizontal
now let's say we were going to add tp 12239 to echostar 7 (119W)
Frequency is 12239 (this info is in the 1st column under Freq. TP)
Polarization is Horizontal (also in 1st column L = Horizontal)
Symbol Rate is 20000 (in the column SR-FEC)

Now to get video,audio and pcr pids click on the P (it's in about the 3th column)
Across the top you will see SID (this is the channel #), VPID (this is the video pid) and APID (this is the audio pid), the PCR PID is the same as the video pid

Now go down to tp 12239 and look at the History Channel and you will see the information you would need to add that channel
Channel Name = History Channel
SID (channel #) = 120
VPID = 6946
APID = 6947
PCR PID = 6946
