Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York Citay in-HD, NY Post Number: 4194 Registered: Oct-06 | "hi king can u give us more info about it" I don't think this service available yet But I guess it would be same price as their Satellite current rates When I saw this VIPTV by Echo-star at the SatCon trade show in NY last October I was told this is available exclusively to Hotels at some time in the future It was a small muck up set top box About same size of VHS tape with a remote control Very impressive MPEG-4 Much slower channel change than satellite receivers I was also told Hotels can use AMC 16 at 85.0°W with a 1.2 Meter dish instead of internet What surprised me It is by Echo-Star Not by Dish Net Don't ask me why As far as I know When this IPTV becomes available Yo can take it anywhere around the globe Where there is internet yo can watch its channels Very portable Also I heard that many after market underground selling IPTV with small computers with hundreds of channels But I'm not sure who and how |
