Wednesday, January 21, 2009 - 00:20 GMT Was listening to some dance type music.. I did something I had never done before. I turned the volume to the point where my meter read 25v. (This is highly compressed.) This is basically my receiver's limit for loads 4-ohm+ It was a good reminder that bass still exists, but I turned it down immediately. Then I listened to the repetitive but good RATM.

Wednesday, January 21, 2009 - 22:55 GMT Johnny Cash...American 5, his last. Thanks Stryvn for the disc, it is great music and a wonderful recording. Next up is Lou Reed..Berlin, to lighten my mood after Johnny's horribly painful, tear inducing , gut wrenching performance. I have not heard a more human recording.

Wednesday, January 28, 2009 - 02:27 GMT Those words fit together when listening to metal on a half decent rig. It's amazing how smooth distortion can sound when played through this combo. And damn you for heading to the DR in this deep freeze. Take pictures, would ya?
