You should convert to PUFF_LZMA boot and then install LZMA Bin 207

Essential kit 103 for conversion to 103 LZMA boot Kit.
This is the new change recommended.
Convert to PUFF_LZMA. There will not be any more PUFF
PUFF_LZMA_207 BIN in separate file

PUFF_LZMA link
Alternative PUFF_LZMA link

Download and unzip into separate directory.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT WITHOUT READING INSTRUCTIONS.

Thanks for posting that. I am starting that today. I've never converted before.

In the essential kit, there are two sets of directions that are identical except for one point.

After opening Ukronics box updater .421.loader; one says to open PUFF_Ver1.0.3 bin, the other says to load PUFF-boot_ver1.0.3.bin

Are they the same, as the kit provides the second file.

They are the same. Go ahead.

But remember, that this kit is meant for those who already have puff boot installed and now want to upgrade

Thanks for responding. I did not realize that. I will search the archives for the last posting of a puff boot.

Hi Nalin,
I have been following your instructions silently since long to program my converted Pansat 2500, and at present am using puff LZMA. Now I have another clone PANSAT 2700A. I got it from my friend. On the screen it shows:
API-75-227-EUbx Boot Ver:75 Dec 7 2007

Can you tell me please how to continue from there on in order to watch whatever is available at present. I guess I cannot load PUFF files to a CLONE Pansat 2700a. Please help me where can I get loader and latest available clonesafe file.

I appreciate your continued helps over the forum, and thank you in advance.

You need just two files one boot 1.0.3 and another PUFF LZMA 207.

Just converted this kind of box to PUFF LZMA in following way:

Connect the receiver with computer and switch on reciver, wait for on or channel number to appear then first open loader .421 and check on boot file a nd select boot 1.0.3 and hit download , it will take just 10 seconds and will reboot and show P.U.F.F. and then will stop at F.
then switch off the receiver
open loader BL updater and select Bin file PUFF LZMA 207 and keep one hand on receiver and one hand on write file switch on receiver and hit write as soon as P appear

once download complete, receiver will reboot and show on or channel.

Good to go.

Cheers!

Patel Dax: You are right - You can't use original BL BINs, nor can you use the pUFF BINs for a Pansat 2700 clone.

Thanks Nalin, I have registered with the Fta and downloded B75-207-TiVO and clone safe loader. I am wondering what 75-301-TiVO file is? Is that the latest file? which file should I load to STB. 207 or 301.

Thanks

Nalin - I tried to download file 207 using Pansat-C 2700 Loader V1.0, when I hit the download, it says

Error: Check 2700a file

What should I do? Am I doing something wrong?

You must be sure you have a Pansat 2700 clone. Did you unzip the BIN file?

You should upgrade the factory BIN.

I downloded the following files:

1. Pansat-C 2700 Loader v1.0
2. Pansat-C 2700 Factory 120v1(b75)
3. CloneSafe-B75-207-TiVo-femu

All I unzipped and using the above mentioned loader, I tried to download the factory file at Sr. #2 above. The file type I selected was BIN File. It did not load rather it just showed me zero progress in the prgress bar. I closed the loader, treid with file at Sr.#3, all I get on the Downloading... bar it showed zero progress. Any help. Sorry I was out and just came back. I tried with another loader:

2700 CloneSafe Loader STB Updater Application

but no response. When I select CloneSafe-B75-207-TiVo-femu with this loader, it says :
Error: Check file 2700a

My friend told me that this is clone set. Does orginal also use TiVo files. The file already loaded is "CloneSafe API-75-2.27-EubxBoot ver.75
