Problem with Viewsat Ultra

The box does not power up when I switch it on. The display show 7:99. I am not able to get to the MENU screen and also the TV says NO SIGNAL

Can any one tell me how this can be fixed.

Do a hardware reset, by turning off and waiting for 40 seconds and then turning on.

Tried it. Actually left it off for 30 minutes and tried again. Same problem.

How do I load the factory bin. Do I have to use a serial cable.

Yes you must load it with a null cable.

The loader is available on viewsatusa.com.

Try it before: unhook the LNB and power on on back panel switch and press many time on "menu until you can see it and load the factory with the USB key.

load the factory file do not unplug null cable untill is done.. the put recent file into your receiver...

Try a Autoscan with Auto Tp "off" or load the factory bin from viewsatusa.com then the 11-01-09 bin.
