I have a working dish 500 and legacy lnb combining 119,110,118 on a 36" dish and diseq switch but only 1 output.
My friend gave twin me a twin dish pro lnb and 2 dp34 switch so as to have 4 to 8 output. Question: Can I combine 118 to one of DP34 port? will it work OK? or do I need other switch?
Thanks everyone.

Dish 500 is not a 36" dish, so more details on your current setup needed, particularly what LNB is getting the 118W.
DP34 is compatible with FTAs and you can use one of the DP34 inputs for 118W. Make sure you use a power inserter at output number 1 or an old Dish receiver always on at output 1 of DP34. DP 34s can be cascaded, but again make sure you have good power to the DP34 as mentioned above.
DPP LNBs cannot run a FTA receiver directly, but FTA receivers can be used via DP34 if the switch is properly powered.

Thanks Nalin, I mean dish 500 antenna ( 24") with legacy lnb and a separate 36" dish for 118.Sorry for the confusion.
I have an old dish receiver. Any particular model? Any brand for power inserter? Thanks again

DP34 switches will work with FTA receivers. However, you need a power inserter, because the system does not get powered properly without additional power supply. They are hard to find, but an old DN receiver is not difficult to find.
