Quad lnb - poor quality with pansat 2700a

Can someone explain this???
I had this working before with no issues, I have a dish 500 with quad lnbs, and pansat 2700a's. I am currently getting good signal with poor quality. I do not have a switch or anything attached - the wire goes straight from the lnb to the diseq to the receiver.
Am I missing anything here??

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Try without switch, if it OK replace your switch(note you says not have switch and says you have a switch)
You can try to autoscan, check if you have ice or snow on dish, maybe wind misaligned your dish.

hoptan jones......am currently getting good signal with poor quality. I do not have a switch or anything attached - the wire goes straight from the lnb to the diseq to the receiver.

Possible Causes
A) Wrong setting in Menu screen.
B) Check alignment of Mast, must be level
in all directions.
C) Check for a defectived LNB.

"the wire goes straight from the lnb to the diseq to the receiver"

You obviously have a DiseqC switch. You should check your antenna settings. Usually 119W is connected to DisEqC port 1 and and 110 is connected to DisEqC port 2.
Also set the DisEqC to 1.0 - NOT 1.1.

The 2700A should have the latest factory BIN 124. If you don't have this installed, you should install it first.

Make sure the LNB freq is set to 11250 for 119W and 110W. Then do a Blind scan for each of the two. The Blind scan will tell you if your antenna setup is correct, by the transponders and chanels coming in. Check against Lyngsat lists

"the connector that came with the pansat"
Does it have four inputs and one output?

There are different types of quad LNBs. DishPro quad is for 4 receivers and not compatible with Legacy receivers. Dish also has a legacy quad for 4 receivers. There are other quads as well.
I am not quite sure why you are using a DisEqC switch.
With abit more information from you, Plymouth might be able to guess what you have and direct you properly.
Also post your settings for 119 and 110 in your receiver Antenna setup

Hoptan says it had work, that is why i think that is the switch, but it will be a bad connection and corrosion on cable connector.

The receiver power supply or mother board can be a problem, but I can't imagine why it should be affecting both of his 2700Ax.
