I was looking into getting an Audiopulse 10in epic, but I was reading some stuff and talking to some people, and they were saying that kicker was better or equal. So, I wanted to know which was which.

Keeker subs are built to get loud and in the meantime sound like ass. You probably heard that some of the Keeker 10's can hit a little harder than the Epic (which is AP/TC's lowest end model by the way) and that is true. But that's where it ends because AP/TC subs are some of the best in the world. No forum, anywhere on Earth, would dispute that.

OK, thanks. Yea I know Epic is the bady of the family, but money man. Is it worth the money for the Revo? And do you know where I can get a 10 inch Revo or Axis? I found a place for the 10 inch Epic and the 12 and 15 inch Axis.

josh if you gave us a budget and a goal for your sonic desire [spl(pure loudness), SQ(sound quality) or SQL(mixed)] we will be able to help you choose easier.

but between brands kicker and AP it isint even close. AP woofers are amazing for both sq and spl and are built much better than any kicker woofer.
Kicker woofers arent terrible but AP is just amazingly good.

Audiobahn is pretty much trash so dont even look them up. kicker is better than audiobahn imo.

look into the brands listed by P.rick as well as:

Audioque
Incriminator Audio
Infinity (I swear by Kappa perfects)
Ascendant Audio
Elemental designs

theres a bunch more that i just cant think of.

Many of the main stream brands like kicker and mtx are over priced and better can be had for less or equal cost, especially if you are looking to buy from a store rather than online.

I want to spend about the 300 or so, about the price the 10 inch epic, but if it is worth like the 150 to 200 dollars more I think I can make that. And I want both Spl and SQ. But if it has more SQ thats fine. Oh, I need a 10 inch.

Do you have room for a 12?
How much power do you plan to run?

Honestly, don't waste your money on low-quality mainstream brands like Audiobahn, Kicker, Sony, etc... Especially if you're willing to spend $300-$500 per sub. And again, all of Audiopulse's subs are very good quality.

Yea, I'm pretty much set my sights on an Audiopulse, but I don't know if it's worth the money to go for the higher models over the Epic.

200 bucks for a tc7 based driver is not a good deal LOL. i think a tc9 (ap revo) would be a decent deal at 199. honestly is you could find a tc oem 10 id get that. or my lmt proto 10 ;) lol.

well kicker isnt the best option either. how much can you get an axis for?

what is your budget? the market is too saturated with good companies to be stuck on 2 imo

I'm going to get an amp that fits the sub, whatever the sub needs I'm going to get it.
