How To Populate EPG Guide On Your Sonicview SV-360 Premier PVR

1) Make sure your Time Zone is set to your area.
With the remote, Menu -> System Settings -> Time Settings -> Time Offset

2) Press the SAT button on remote.

3) Scroll down to EchoStar Package and select.

4) Now, just use the remote control and power the unit down. The time clock will appear on the LED on the front of the receiver. Wait about 5 minutes.

5) Power back on with the remote and your guide will now be filled up.

Your Guide (also called EPG which stands for Electronic Program Guide) should now be populated.

You can also first set the duration of this in the Menu -> System Settings -> User Options(Misc.) -> Guide Dates -> right or left arrow for 1 Day or 3 Days or 7 Days

Enjoy your Sonicview SV-360 Premier!

BS...Mods here have NEVER edited any posts...they just delete them!...not in 7 years at least!

unless Plymouth is a mod here and edited to make himself look correct with his reply to you...and that would be the first time in history here at this site!

Most any channel will work...just some are faster than others..I just know that 122 is very fast with the EPG and during key rolls, especially after loading a bin....

Zulu posted the fastest channels above...use them

Read the manual provided above..and here
http://www.sonicviewusa.com/support.html

and sounds like u need to realign the dish, or learn to input antenna settings, and learn/read about using your receiver, if no 200 (CNN) or 122 (sci fi) on the 119....

Do a blind scan for recover your TPs lost, don't forget to deleted the channels before if you don't want duplicated channels.

CNN is the easier to get, everybody get it.

you don't need Signal and Quality of 99%

Over 75% it's OK

Yeah, but I thought the tp 12472 is not getting any channels coz of low signal or quality.

Ok
Buy a cheap satellite tracker for aligned your dish, with it that is easier.
Try without switch, sometimes the switch can broke on only one Tp.

If you guys r interested in what hapenned!

When I was setting up direction for 119, it displayed EchoStar 7 and got channels for 110 instead.
But When I changed the satellite to 110 and setup direction and scanned, it got same channels from 110 with full guide.

So, these channels which I was getting without guide were actually 110's channels. And on setting up right satellite during scan, I got the guide.

How different is 119 from 110? It you were me, what would you have? 110 or 119?

My confusion, still is, why it displayed EchoStar 7 if it was receiving EchoStar 10/11.
