BTW, you may also have a clone, if you never used this particular receiver before... Also u can try a transfer of data from another Ultra... All this info is available..here.. All these sites ALWAYS have the latest files, bins, how to's, manuals, guides, dish pointing calulators and tips, hardware info, jtag info, newbie and getting started sections, actively moderated with a no troublemakers and no bashing allowed policy.. and are free, and only require a simple free registration...Your email info is kept private, unless U specify differently..and U will be notified via email of any replies to any questions U may ask (or U can shut that feature off, if U like)..and your IP is sacred and never released.. Many of these specialize in particular FTA receivers as noted next to their links..USE those for your particular receiver manufacturer.. Sometimes a Vs dead receiver display nothing and you must force the factory bin file. Reply with the result and you will receive help from us on Ecoustics. |

Bronze Member Username: PolywogPost Number: 38 Registered: Nov-07 | the large cap was leaking and not any good, i replaced it, but still have a voltage supply problem, I know just enough to see visual problems, this goes deeper, so thursday night i'm hanging out with my electronics guru to find (hopefully) the other problems. by the way the power supply is allways on and idle when the switch is on in back, I've never turned the power off for years even in the front, i just turn off the tv. my bad. let you guys know more when i know more. thanks again for all your help with this! |
