ok so i recently installed 2 AQ sdc2.5 12s in a 4.28 cubic foot box tuned to 36hz. Im not really satisfied. They pound but not enough for me. Im going to try a new tunning freq first. any suggestions? 38hz? then if that doesnt do the trick then i need to look for a single sub or 2 subs that can handle 1200wrms and thats at 1ohm.
amps are not a problem. I own my own shop. I am a dealer for memphis, orion, fusion, hifonics. Plus we carry tons of other brands and get great dealer prices. I just want subs that are not too mainstream and i will power them appropriately.
15's get lower the fi btls are sick in the 15" my buddy has one fully loaded in a 5 cube box tuned to about 40 hz with a mmats d300 hitting around 148 db people loose there mind in his back seat. i personally think the box could be bigger for better sq but most people on the street just care if it pounds
