i have a viewsat v2000 ultra and in order to get some of the channels i have to turn the receiver off then back on. i don't have to do this to all the channels just a few. anyone have a fix for this?
The sort of problem you are experiencing is universal amongst all the receivers, of different intensity and frequency at different times and with different BINs. The usual and the best solution is to load the factory BIN, then the latest BIN and then rescan.
VS 2000 ultra loaded VIEWSAT_ULTRA_V0143.zip 3 or 4 times. Then this U009_plat-xtreme.zip
I do a auto scan on, 119 chanels seem to be there but when I go to them they have like yellow/orange $ at the end. I see only 2 that does not and they work. I did notice after scan was 100% i notice failed all the way to the right,
7 , 119 was what my original was pulling from. what am I missing? I've used the loader the usb methed, seems to load but when doing chanel scan and the end where once said locked it say failed and end when it at 100% and ask if i want to save.
I believe I tried all the sats 1,2 - 8,10 I used this file DBPSW-080929P.PGM it went on fine.
I believe I've tried PFTAUSW-080929U '" Viewsat ultra PFTAUSW-080929UL '" Viewsat ultra lite as I remembered the lite took and the ultra said wrong file img
Maybe this means somthing, after scanning auto scan.
Total 29 freq S/R Pol FEC
Processing 29 12545 21500 v 2/3 failed
this is what i see when auto scan it will say Locked then when finished and it ask do i want to save i notice where it use to say locked it says failed.
If you are sure it is a Viewsat Ultra, you should use u files. Sometimes there is confusion because Viewsat Ultra is also know as Viewsat 2000 Ultra, and a person can get confused with the Viewsat 2000 extreme which is a different receiver and takes the x file. You only know what receiver you have and you should use the latest factory BIN for it followed by the latest BIN for it. Look at [link removed], and go to the Viewsat discussions section and then to Viewsat files section and look around a bit.
