For CB2008A, you do a separate scan using LNB Type Universal LNB freq 10750 (or 9750-10600 or 9750-10750) First TP 11715 (V) Scan
Then change above to LNB Type Universal LNB freq 11250 First TP 12239 (H) Scan
For some of the newer cheap 118/119 LNBs, they work as for scanning, missing some channels and getting them back in the other scan, using Blind scan. However, here is what seems to work 100%. The following is on a $20 LNB obtained at Transat Electronics of Toronto Change above settings to LNB Type Standard LNB freq 11250 First TP 11715 (V) Blind Scan. Don't worry about the TP frequency that your receiver records in the scan. You may find that one of the frequencies at the middle freezes during the channels scan. Come out and do individual TP scan of each of the remaining TPs that the Blind scan has registered. Look through the channels scanned and rename many channels that were registered as TV 903 etc. You could do the Blind scan first with the LNB type as standard just to get the TPs (about 33) and then change the LNB type to Universal for the channel scan. If you do a Blind scan with LNB type set to Universal 1 (9750-10600) or Universal 2 (9750-10750) you will get 61 to 72 TPs. You will probably get more channels than you bargain for, but more duplication as well!! The above info is after some 6-7 hours of scanning. The scanned channels stay and there is no conflict when you change from channel to channel. And you get almost 100% of the channels of Anik 3 and Echo 3
