My friends quality keeps jumping. He has both signal and quality around 80% but the quality keeps jumping from 80 to 0 pretty fast. He is using DN on echo 7,8,& 10. What's up with his setup ?
I use VS xtreme and hubby just bought all new cables etc... when we use the same switch and cables on nimiq it works ... we switch back to the DN sat and nothing but "jumping" on the signal it happens on my captiveworks also. We havent tried a direct connection maybe that will work i don't know.
dj, the vs is very sensitive to shorts on cable mostly at connectors, from what you are saying,ask your hubby to remove the connectors for dn at switch and lnb.now cut them back a little bit and install neww connectors making sure none of the earthing wires are shorting
