A satellite installation guy will do it for $70-80. You need to connect 119 to Input 1 118.7 to Input 2 110 to input 3 129 to input 4 (if you have a 129 LNB) If you must DIY, then buy a SF95L signal-meter from Sadoun.com or similar. Use installation instructions posted by sadoun.com http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Products/Accessories/Meters/SF95L-DSS-FTA-Satellite-Si gnal-meter.htm If you do not have Anik 3 listed, use Anik 1 slate in your antenna setup menu for 118.7W. LNB freq=10750 (lo 9750) Do a Blind scan or scan all with first TP as 11715 (V) (See Lyngsat for 118.7 TPs) For 119W use LNB freq 11250 and first TP 12224(V) or 12239 (H). For 110 use LNB freq 11250 and first TP 12224 (V) Blind scans get all the currently active TPs |

If I do have Anik 3 listed then what do I do? I am not at home right now so I can not see it..Also, should I "add" all the tps for 118 in the sat...whatever one exists as well? I will most likely not put the 129 on dish. I have a dn500 with 61.5...Can I run the 61.5 into the Dp44 that I will use? Thank you.. |

Platinum Member Username: NydasPost Number: 12101 Registered: Jun-06 | You can run maximum 4 LNBs on DP44 (max 3 on DP34). You can therefore run 61.5 to your DP44 if the 61.5 is on a separate Dish. If you have more you can cascade or use other techniques - ask KING. If you have a Anik 3 slate on your receiver use it. A Blind scan does not bother about your TP list. In some STBs it overwrites the list, in others it adds the TPs. Another type of scan may only look at the first TP and then scan everything after it. Another type of scan looks at the TP list and scans only those. |
