Platinum Member Username: Nyyfan1315 Mag USA Post Number: 10362 Registered: Jul-06 | Not me and it will remain that way lol. Got me there Steve lol. |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 6528 Registered: Feb-06 | they're actually nice subs. not worth the $200+ they were asking, but definately nice. funny how people put down a product without ever hearing/using it just cause it may seem like the thing to do. like someone else posted on another forum, if it was stamped a different brand on the cone instead of ed, alot more people would be buying this sub. |
Diamond Member Username: BestmankindPost Number: 22423 Registered: Oct-05 | its just the world we live in mike. people are in to name brands. for example, look at jeans. people will pay hundreds of dollars for true religion jeans when its just a pair of jeans. |
Gold Member Username: Big_edge_headMilwaukee, Wisconsin Post Number: 2709 Registered: Mar-07 | I've never even heard of "true religion jeans." lol |
Platinum Member Username: Nyyfan1315 Mag USA Post Number: 10364 Registered: Jul-06 | I never put down the brand. I never said they were p00p. I was just stating my opinion on it. Having heard it or not, I won't ever buy one, let alone anything from ED. I'm not saying their product sucks, just saying I don't like the company as a whole. |
Diamond Member Username: BestmankindPost Number: 22424 Registered: Oct-05 | yanks i wasn't referring to you btw. i was just saying alot of the people in general, including myself, are in to name brands. |

Gold Member Username: JakeyplaysbassSt. Louis, MO / ASU Post Number: 3334 Registered: Jul-05 | I ran 4 ED 16ov.2s and 4 ED NINE.1s back in the day and was doing 152-153s. Actually my favorite setup so far is with these subs in an isobaric box. EDs service sucks but they acutally do make a pretty good product. If i wanted a multi 15 setup again this would be a pretty good deal IMO. Chadly R&R jeans are nice... hah I have a few pairs myself. |

Sold one just the other day. Anyone wants one I'll sell it for what I paid plus shipping. $50 + ship. Not bad. |
Diamond Member Username: BestmankindPost Number: 22426 Registered: Oct-05 | i don't own true religion jeans. i am a shorts guy lol. |
Gold Member Username: MixmastaspigTeam RD, Canada Post Number: 1869 Registered: Sep-05 | Shipping would be too much, look like a ncie sub though. Now on to jeans.... I bought a pair of jeans (can't remember the brand name) for $27 CDN as they were 50% off (got 2 perrrs for just under $60) and after that my buddy got a pair of jeans that cost hims $214 CDN and you can NOT tell the difference between his pair and my pair. They both have the same design stitched on the rear pockets and the same little stitches on the front! Only thing that is different is the label. I lol'd big time at him. |

Gold Member Username: Mike11202RE MT 15 VFL 200.1 , Sewell, NJ US Post Number: 1820 Registered: Nov-06 | shipping is way too expensive.. their making a lot of money off shipping im not even a business and i could send these subs to Iowa for under $25 a piece for that weight and they want $39+ for one |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 6529 Registered: Feb-06 | contact ed and they'll give you a different shipping quote. the site quotes ups (if i remember correctly), but they also use another carrier which is usually cheaper. an ed rep posted that on diyma, and another member said after contacting ed he saved $20 on shipping. |
Gold Member Username: BernymacCambodia Post Number: 4310 Registered: Sep-04 | Wow, $95 for shipping for 2. $300 total. Wish I could afford that |
