i connected a DP single lnb to a DP+ in connection...ran the cable directly to the sonicview8000, port 1 119 port2 110 port 3 129...i get 110 and 119 to scan fine, on ports 3 and 4 i get 110 in and not 129...129 is working as i go drictly from the lnb to the rcvr and it comes in fine...where am i going wrong w/ my connections...or is this set up even possible
I'm trying tio give yo an idea This is called stacker seperator It only works with DP-Plus and DP34 or DP44 - It combines 2 satellites to one output - Yo run only one cable inside the house - Then use another seperator to split to 2 coax - This is commenly used for dual tuners to reach rooms that has one connection BUT IT REQUIRES DPP34 OR DP44 AND DPP LNBF
It changes the voltage from 13/18V to 20 Volts on one coaxial then yo split to 2 independent coax for 2 tuners
I'm bringing this point to show that hardware compatibility is the issue here
Without calling everyone @#!%!upid. You should be able to run one cable to a diseqc4x1 sw then 2 cables to dpp using port1 119, port2 110 and port3 to other lnb/dish 129. Otherwise to run the third lnb inline take old DN reciever but not an old legacy one and hook it to.... no I dont think you can even do that. If you find dpp works for a few minutes then you loose signal then just chuck it as hard as you can and stay away from DPP. Regular DP's are great though.
alright...went from DPP one cable into port one 119, one cable into port 2 110, and one cable from DP single LNB into port 3 of the 4x1 diseqc, ran into the rcvr...all are working...thank u gentlemen for the help ... now on to the next project
