I am about to order the Superpower 33" elliptical dish with 5 LNBs to receive Dish 110 118.7, 119 and Bev 82 and 91 and I would like to know what switches and how many would I need in order to set this up with an existing Dish 300 that I have for Dish 61.5. I am using 2 pansat hd receivers. Thank you.

4 Satellites to 2 receivers

- Yo have to have each Sat on a separate LNB
- Each LNB must be dual input
- Yo may place 118/119 on one-LNB One-input
- Third Sat to input-3
- Forth Sat to input-4 etc.
- Max 4 inputs to 2 receivers

2 sw21's in front of 2 dp34's is the ticket. Besides wouldnt your reciever need to know what a 8x1 is first? I mean its not in my veiwsat setup menu.

A number of variations of DiSEqC exist:

* DiSEqC 1.0, which allows switching between up to 4 satellite sources
* DiSEqC 1.1, which allows switching between up to 16 sources
* DiSEqC 1.2, which allows switching between up to 16 sources
* DiSEqC 2.0, which adds bi-directional communications to DiSEqC 1.0
* DiSEqC 2.1, which adds bi-directional communications to DiSEqC 1.1
* DiSEqC 2.2, which adds bi-directional communications to DiSEqC 1.2

Even the lowly Pansat 2500 and FLU using the conversion BIN PUFF_288 has a DisEqC 1.1 setting, which is what is needed for the Digiwave 8 to 1 switch.
The latest BINs on viewsats should/would have 1.1 and 1.2 DiseqC settings

I do remember seeing diseq sw1 and sw2 for a total of 16 on a 2500. I guess VS is a little behind in the diseq department. I was pretty impressed with that little 2500a after getting through all the do's and dont's and do's it took to load the file.

The DisEqC 1.0 and 1.1 alternatives came about on Pansat 2700 (and therefore on converted BINs) about 2 months ago. I am pretty certain that that kind of facility is becoming universal amongst the better FTA names
