I down loaded b-75 file 287, and it worked fine for a cpl hrs, then went totally blank.clone 2700 that uses pansat files. It does not power up at all.All help is appreciated, thank you.I enjoy this site for a while-but I don't understand why all the fighting-you all are very good, again thanks to all.
Paul: There are three tyes of files for so called Pansat 2700s. For genuine one you use h egenuine BL fine For clone 2700 you use a clone 2700 file - it usually has word tivo init. For converted (2500 to 2700) pansats you use the conversion b-75 or Puff bin.
Nalin, what i have exactly is Vortex pro 7700 that was converted into cs 2500to2700.After reading here that bin 287 was sworking, thats what i used, not a puff, I was told that puff would burn my stb out because sit is a much stronger program-is this trrue? thanks for reply.
"Vortex pro 7700 that was converted into cs 2500to2700."
You had a 2500 clone and had converted it to a 2700 work-alike using what boot - b75 boot or PUFF boot?
In any case, you should 1. NEVER use regular BL BINs for 2700 2. Never use 2700 clone BINs - Tivo or Vortex. 3. If you had a b-75 boot you should have used a b-75 conversion BIN which is different form the original B-75 BINs. If your receiver has a light, you are in luck. Using the technique describer in "revert to 2500" and using the 2700 to 2500 Chasncy's special loader, load the b60 BOOt followed by use of BL updater 1.4 and 294T BIN. Then you should proceed t PUFF boot as instructed in the PUFF conversion, and wait for 288 PUFF BIN and install that when it comes out (probably tomorrow.) Look at my next post for the files.
Thank you Nalin for your responses, yes it looks like a job for j-taging.canyou please answer the question of puff bieng a much stronger program than b75, will puff burn oust a box very fast?
