"King
Last week i found a new satellite and over 20 channels in Ku band between 35W and 55W
This sat is not list in Lyngsat, i get it with Globecast setting and scan with motor.
I found it on lyngsat and i'm not able to found it again, because i dont note the degree.
I will try to find it."

That's most likely:
- 30.0°W Hispasat C or D
- 43.0°W Intelsat 3R

About 2 years ago I had an argument with someone that claimed it can't be done
This is why I wrote how to use specs to get certain satellite

This is what yo found:

This is why I think white hole posts should be ignored as he makes comments on things he has absolutely no clue

Good Job Plymouth
Glad yo shared yor findings

"I get 43 channels on C-Band on 61.5W from Ecostar with very strong signal"

I'm sure yor not crazy as I did recognize yo as a true tester
I'm always interested in unique exploration
And this might be one of them

As far as I know
61.5 is all Ku band no C-band
61.5 has 2 satellites not just one
So there is always a possibility one of the satellites moved in space, deviating frequency pitch even if they are C-band frequency
One possibility a new satellite just been added
Another possibilty some wrong feed back freq I get it all the time
As much as I'm so sure it's not C-band I won't jump to conclusion until I look at all the clues

Frequency is frequency
Doesn't matter if it's C-band, Ku band or Ka band
Yo dial a set freq on yor receiver enabling internal clock, the 2 freq get summed together and anything can happen as it gets down converted to 2 GHz back to yor receiver

See scaning is a lot more fun than PPV
Isn't?

I'm interested in:
- Yor LNB freq
- Tuner freq
- It's always good not to jump to conclusion this is how I came across the 2 streams 2 years ago

Welcome aboard
Yo are now a true tester

That's great
I do have an idea what this is
But first
Do yo get clear video?
Meaning does yor bin work on these channels?

That's what I was expecting
At least 80% of all channels encrypted

No doubt it's 61.5
Question is, is it Ku or C-band?
I'm very sure they are not C-band
Yor Invacom is not even rated below 11.7GHz and there is no listing of C-band on 61.5 and MOST IMPORTANT these are same selections found on 61.5 they may have added few channels here and there

It's important to be familiar with internal clock frequency
Clock means fixed frequency
Receiver's Internal frequency drives LNB frequency on yor dish to mix with incoming satellite beam frequency
They get summed together then down converted to 2 GHz back again to yor receiver to decode it from MPEG to video/Audio

I had a German professor more than 23 years ago taught me one thing
No coaxial cable on earth can pass frequency higher than 2.7GHz
It won't even pass thru more than 10 inches of any wire
In fact it will start to break up at 2.3GHZ
Only super conductors can
The reason is speed of electrons thru copper conductor is 2.7x10^7 meters per second

Theoretically
No frequency on yor coax cable goes either way IN/Out for anymore than 2GHZ
Therefore it's nothing but feedback as a result of the 2 mixed frequencies
I get it all the time
It used to drive me crazy

But the magic of LOW NOISE BLOCK (LNB) with feedback horn known as LNBF does all the frequency conversion in both directions
To keep up with speed limit of the copper

Air is much better conductor
But a bigger professor Einstein says nothing in our universe exceeds the speed of light
which is 300x10^8 m/s

Therefore according to my calculation
No frequency will ever exceed 34.33GHZ above our Earth
(I got that by taking the ratio of both speeds)

At least not in my life time
Only Ka frequency is this close about 30GHz

King few channels as TV5 Monde, which is clear is not available on dish now, if i scan in Ku it is not there.

The dish turn on 0.1 or 0.2 degree on this lot of channel, i am sure this is a new satellite, it is not echostar 3

How you explain it.

There are 2 satellites on 61.5 not just one
Echo-str-1 and Rain*bow-1
Seperated by 0.2 degrees or less in space

Yo are now got yor first hand on both streams
It's what I was trying to tell yo all along

In any cases
This is a newly added channel
Do yo get TV5 MONDE in clear or scrambled?

If yo do get it scrambled
There are trial and error steps that would let yo get it
Similar to channel Star One in the past

When yo say clear I assume yo say decrypted
Otherwise clear means Free to Air

i.e. when yo say clear $ is shown
And bin made it clear

Yo lost me when yo say Anik-F1
Anik F1 at 107.3°W (South America Beam)
No way on earth yo can get it
And it has 1-TP, one channel feed

Plymouth
Yo won't get C-band with yor Invacom LNB
I had an entire page on LNB freq
It's a feedback from Ku-band by playing with pitch frequency
I did all the tricks in the world

Yo wanna get C-band
Get a 1.2 meter dish and a C-band/Ku band LNB
Yo'll get tons of C-band channels

What yo came across are newly added channels that will be available in few weeks

Next time put the orbit location
Cuz yor discussion is all about 61.5
All the sudden yor talking 107
F1 is a C-band and there isn't anything on it
F1/R is Canadian Star*choice 107.3W
That is encrypted in DC-II
There is no crack on it at this time

Yor talking about 61.5
All the sudden yo ask how to expalin F1 C-band
This is what yo wrote:
"King
TV5 Monde is clear
3A Telesud is clear
Trace is clear
GLBK1 is clear
BTV is clear
ISRLI is clear

Wouldn't make perfect sense to get C-band using C-band LNB?
It's like trying to get FM radio on an AM tuner

Yes yo can
But with at least 1.2 meter
I had an entire thread on it
Check this LNB
[link removed]

I predicted when PTA days are over
1 meter will become handy

It's a combination of LNB freq, Satellite freq and final summed freq

Next step try to found true frequency.

See
Now yo got the 2 streams
N*2 an N*3 side by side
When most people do blind scan they'll get both streams
Cuz both interlaced by 2 satellites in space separated by 0.2 degrees
I detected that back in Feb 2007 when they were doing N1 & N2

Yo now got first hand test on both streams

I dont think, because , like i say many time, if i delete the sat and blind scan, i dont have this problem.
These channels are on a different frequency.

Maybe you are right this weekend i installed my old 18" dish with a hh-90 and connect it directly in my Captiveworks and on blind scan i have many duplicate channels.

My 33" with QPH-031 is more precis for select 2 near satellites.

I try to get the true frequency and i reply.
