I'll start off to tell what I'm hoping on doing with what I got.
-A box holding 2 tweaters, 2 5's, and 2 MTX 12's. -I getting a free Sony CDX-C5000X deck. -Getting a Sony XM-1502SX amp for cheap.
-K. What I'm wanting to do is move the 5's up and replace the 6x9's for more treble. -Move tweaters by passenger and driver. -Keep box with the 12's in the trunk.
Just wondering on what and how to install all of this stuff. My friends are going to help, but It's allways good to get to know what I'm looking at before something goes wrong. Just wondering the overview of wires and other accessires that I'll prob. need.
Another thing I was wondering is if that amp has a power switch. I don't get If you have the amp hooked to the batt. that it won't run it down.

those other questions will take some time to answer that I don;t have time to answer right now. But about the Amp hooking to the battery. Amps have a remote wire terminal that you run a wire (14-16 guage wire) that runs to the remote wire coming out of the head unit it connects there. And you DO NOT hook the amps ground to the battery you want it to be a short as possible hook the ground up to BARE metal such as a where the seat mounts. hope this helps a little.
