jet lee has "4 universal lnbs"
He probably has one Universal LNB on 118.7(and 119) and the other two are standard ones accessing 110, 121.

jet lee: Please post details, as this is the set up most people would or should be heading for soon except perhaps 121 not needed and 92 needed. Details of any bracket modifications, etc will be appreciated.

You got a good buy, because you are getting a lot of channels.
Are you also getting 119W (Echo 7) channels?

I haven't got it yet, just want to make sure I can use it. so is this mean that dish can use only on 97w, or any else?

No this dish can get many satellites with good LNBs and a multi LNBs bracket.

You can buy a motor and a Invacom QPH-031 Universal Linear/circular LNB, but you need to be a pro for aligned this dish.
With it you can get over 10 satellites with appropriated receiver

I just bought a 36" dish with digiwave lnb, for 118.8 and 119 satellite, but the lnb couldn't locate any bird, I put the old lnb up and it can locate 110 and 119 without any problem. will it be the lnb problem?

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
Using a 30-inch or larger dish, aim with the following settings:

For DGL-1189S you should setup as below will better:
Satellite Name: 118°W (Anik F3) or 119°W (Echo7)

* LNB Power: ON
* LNB Type: Universal
* LNB Frequency: 9750Mhz/10750 MHz

Finally, do an AUTO SCAN or a BLIND SCAN

For DGL-1189D and DGL-1189Q you should setup as:
Satellite Name: 118°W (Anik F3) or 119°W (Echo7)

* LNB Power: ON
* LNB Type: Universal
* LNB Frequency: 9750Mhz/10600 MHz

Finally, do an AUTO SCAN or a BLIND SCAN

You can try on standard and 22Khz set on "ON"

I hope that help you

jet lee, when you say it does not work you need to explain what setting in your setup page when you have the new LNB mounted. Only this way people can give you meaningful instructions.

after setup the dish
I go to viewsat antenna setup, echostar 7
lnb power on
try lnb type standard and universal
lnb high 10600
22khz off
tp freq 12224
diseqc 1.0 none (use only one lnb)
motor off
legacy sw none

one thing I notice strange is I have another old ecllipe dish lock to 119w, when I look at the compass it show 250', the new 36" dish show 240', it point at different direction,

I manage to get 57 channels from 119w, still no luck with 118.8 yet. about the dish aiming, why two dish point 10' different for 119w?

for 118 i use echostar 9 121w
lnb power on
lnb type universal and standard
lnb high 10600
lnb low 9750 and off
tp freq 11715

from channel scan I delete all old freq and put in new one 11715 ,11720 etc
and auto scan
no channel come up.

you dont need to scan with 121W

Do 2 scan on 119W 1 on 11250 and 1 on 10750

I though I have to use 121w setup for 118.8w and scan, I tried 11250 and it wouldn't work on 11250 because the lnb will not work on 11250,
I think I know the problem, not enough signal from the new digiwave lnb. the old standard lnb have much more signal for echo 7. the digiwave have only 26 signal bar. and the old lnb has 80. don't understand why, maybe I should try other brand lnb.
