Gold Member Username: PlymouthQuebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 3540 Registered: Jan-08 | Do a blind scan on sat you lost channel, that recover Tp not inside new box |
Bronze Member Username: Fuji905On Canada Post Number: 66 Registered: Feb-07 | not sure what you mean plymouth? How do I check my settings? Other ultra is fine. |
Bronze Member Username: Vova_putinPost Number: 49 Registered: Aug-06 | Don't do a blind scan, VS ultra doen't like it... Just do the auto scan, make sure your search option is all, do one sat at a time. |
Gold Member Username: PlymouthQuebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 3542 Registered: Jan-08 | Vlad i have Vs Ultra and blind scan work very fine and recover lost channels(this problem is on old bin) Kris Go in menu Installation 0000 pin code Antenna setup choose good sat and exit and save Blind scan Scan start Press OK "press ok" when end save and exit If it not work do a factory default, load last bin and Autoscan(now the new Tp is inside box with Blind scan) |
Bronze Member Username: Fuji905On Canada Post Number: 67 Registered: Feb-07 | Plymouth, did what you said but still not working so did the factory default, loaded last bin, autoscanned but I only have 228 channels; there should be a lot more channels. While it was scanning, I noticed some frequencies had zero quality. Any ideas? |

Bronze Member Username: Fuji905On Canada Post Number: 70 Registered: Feb-07 | I changed connections at the swith, main receiver is still working great, new reciever, issue hasn't changed. |
Gold Member Username: PlymouthQuebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 3557 Registered: Jan-08 | Kris try the receiver who work fine directly on location of new receiver and check if all channels work, if not, a cable can be defect and give you only vertical channels. reply with result |
Bronze Member Username: Fuji905On Canada Post Number: 71 Registered: Feb-07 | will try, thanks. |
Bronze Member Username: Fuji905On Canada Post Number: 72 Registered: Feb-07 | well I guess the issue isn't with the cable, the other receiver works fine when moved. hmmmm. Any more suggestions? |
Bronze Member Username: Fuji905On Canada Post Number: 73 Registered: Feb-07 | did a rescan and it is only picking up verticals, no horizontals, any suggestions? |
Gold Member Username: RunnerguyPluto Post Number: 1528 Registered: Sep-06 | I have no idea why you don't check your antenna setting....why even scan if you don't know what your settings are? |
Gold Member Username: RunnerguyPluto Post Number: 1529 Registered: Sep-06 | http://www.satmancanada.com/antennasetup.htm answer to your next question |
Gold Member Username: PlymouthQuebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 3558 Registered: Jan-08 | Kris Try a new cable or remade your connector on it, check if aluminium shield is not short with center copper wire and check if wire on shield made good contact with outside connector. Get only Vertical signal result on low voltage on LNB. Posible cause short on wire or bad contact on connector and cable. |
Gold Member Username: PlymouthQuebec city, Quebec Canada Post Number: 3559 Registered: Jan-08 | Sorrry Kris you say receiver work fine on other location. Go to: <[link removed]> download this file: VS2000 ULTRA Factory Bin File - V132 and download and unzip it, load it in key, load in receiver, dont do a hard reboot and load last bin, rescan all sats, if you lost channels do a blind scan Good luck |
Bronze Member Username: Fuji905On Canada Post Number: 74 Registered: Feb-07 | I figured out what it was, when I did the scan, the 'LNB Type' wasn't set to 'Standard'. Thanks for your help Plymouth, perhaps we learned something here, at least I did anyway. |
