He doesn't know anything about this hobby and FTA.. Sonia, the bins/files lasting time, varies about the same for all receivers, based on how often DN and Bev send out ECM's in their signals. Basically most all companies release new files about the same time (give or take 1 day) to correct and fix these ECM's. Sonicview is one of the best for their softawre support and fast fixes. Also , Plymouth mentioned Sonicview is under investigation, well so is Viewsat, Cooolsat, Pansat and every major receiver company out there, BUT NOT for selling receivers . Allegedly DN believes these companies are also supplying the illegal files used to modify these LEGAL FTA receivers. So again, ignore this idiot Plymouth, who has no clue about anything. |

Not lots of bells and whistles, just basic features, but for the price can't go wrong. Support is quick and superb. Even if you get a converted FLU, will not be wasting your money. For the last five years it's been one (if not the only), most constant and reliable receivers. The only people that ever compalained of Pansats, are those who 1 never owned one, or 2 don't know how to use it. |

If you get a cnx make sure it says made in korea as they are moving to China and there quality will go down slightly. I own both cnx and sv products and prefer the cnx. This is just a preference. Best way to decide on a stb is to take the suggestions and read about what the receivers will do there specs and then make a decision on what it is you want your receiver to do. |

Sonicview Viewsat Conaxsat Then if you want IKS, there are some debates and pro's and cons about both Neosat and Nfusion. I myself don't put Kbox, captain and the dongle (lol) up in the same category. You will always find people who prefer Ford over Chevy and vice versa. so Sonia, now you decide. Remember 1 thing, things do change over time, but these have a proven reputable history. |
