Is the resonant engineering MX a Dedicated Spl or SQ sub? I've never heard one in person but I've read that they get loud and still sound decent. Can one of these 15s get decent #'s in a daily setup? Thinking about getting one but for the money can I still get loud? Anyone have any experience with these?
Thats what I was just reading. I can get one for 300 and I was trying to do a one sub setup that gets pretty loud. I hear the XXX gets loud as balls and its a sql sub as well I hear. Is one sx as loud as one mx of the same size?
the 04/05 XXX is great.. the SX will still get louder but comparing to the 04/05 XXX.. it will get lower and sound a lot cleaner.. and get nearly just as loud
personally i'd rather run two XXXs over my old SXs.. they are great daily subs
i do currently run 1 04/05 XXX 15" and it gets decently loud.. i am under-powering it and my car does not have a seat that folds.. last time i burped was a 143.4 @ 44hz

Old XXX is a great sub for sq/sql. Very accurate and musical yet still beats.
New XXX is just as good IMO but cost an arm and a leg so no one wants to get them. They are also huge and very hard to mount in a small box, which sucks... Overall RE messed up with this sub...
i'll be having my sx later this month and i hope i will be happy for the way it sounds... so guys how does it sounds when it comes to spl?? and when it comes to sq?
i believe that the older xxx was now the MT series... people here in the Philippines like mostly the mt's rather than the xxx. cause they believe it's more louder... imho...
