Hi guys, so basically everything was working fine up until a few days ago.

I was getting sporadic signal loss about 3 days ago, but that dissapeared and was working fine for about a day, now i get 0 Signal! I get 90+ signal STRENGTH, but 0 Signal QUALITY!!

I did not tamper with my box/dishes at all, this happened out of the blue.

I have tried the following things :

- Did a blind scan which only picked up 4 TP'S (took long time too) with 0 channels.

- Tried to load different bin (lothario version), same thing, 4 TP'S 0 Channels.

I am on a 2500 pansat clone PUFF version. Please help me guys

have you checked your setiings.all your cable connection.did you do a hard reboot by turning off the rear switch then turning on after a minute.if so try reloadng the bin check all your settings then scan your sats.ohh yeah if you are using a switch by pass it and run cable directly to lnb to see if you get signal if so replace switch

Cables,
connectors,
bad switch,
bad LNB,
branches growing blocking "clear line of sight"
incorrect dish alignment ( moved slightly)
incorrect antenna receiver settings

No need to take "apart" any dish to disconnect a simple exterior switch.

Dish was definitely not moved, i checked it, it's very secure.

Cables, doubtfull i dont see any phyiscal problems.

i have 2 dishes, i cant just bypass the switch because in order to run it through directly from dish to receiver i need to unscrew some parts of the actual dish, otherwise its impossible. The cable from the dish to the switch lies in a deep crevice, its impossible to remove it without taking a part of the dish off.

Again, it's PROBABLY the switch because both dishes have the same problem, and no new trees/buildings magically appeared.

Start by giving a nice tug on the cable connector terminals, even though physical damage is not visible, connector terminals can get loose or corroded (specially outside). Then check your switch and adjust your settings accordingly. If these seems "ok", move to your LNB.

Some of the PUFF_276 BINs have problems.

1. Use Nick Mty PUFF_276 BIN.
I have not tried the Fwank7 PUFF_276 BIN, but that may be OK.
2. If you have a SW21, use the special PUFF_276 (SW21) BIN.

They have introduced two DisEqC switches 1.0 and 1.1
There is often a problem in Antenna setup - Use DisEqC switch 1.0 followed by port number such as 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 where your LNB is connected. If that does not give a proper scan, try 1.1 switch.

Yes nalin i have tried using both 1.0, 1.1, same thing. Everything was working fine then SUDDENLY stopped working. the only conclusions i could draw are:

Cables busted
LNB busted
Switch busted
Receiver busted

I'm leaning towards the switch, shite and the fedor fight is tonight.

Also guys, my Diseqc switch is 2.0, why is there only 1.0 and 1.1 in the options? is this a problem?

Another update:

When the feed cable is inside my receiver, i get fuzzy lines on my TV, when i take out the feed cable, the lines magically dissapear (as well as my signal %), so does that mean that the switch is working properly? Why do i get the weird static?

When i do a blind scan, i get maybe 4 transponders, but still 0 channels.
