hey i've been busy all summer and havent had a chance to replace my girls tweeters since some repair shop messed around with her car and some how blew them:-( so if anybody has any please tell me what kind and a price. thanks alot my fellow ecoustians. oh and the tweeters were apart of a CDT component set... if that helps....

on the subject of tweeters, i might be buying my friend's jeep grand cherokee and they have a speaker in each door and two tweeters in the dash as you may already know.
the tweeters in the front crackle and sound like sh!t. would it sound decent still if i just disconnected the tweeters and replaced the speakers with type r speakers?

imo tweeters are the most important piece of audio equipment for a car. it can make or break your system. don't go cheap on those.

Id say frontstage as a whole is the most important part but just tweets is kind of a reach...

I see where you are coming from tho.

Look at the results from DIYMA. The guys there don't mess around when it comes to SQ.
Read some of the reviews they gave and remember that most of those guys are comparing them to seas neos or something of that level.

I would also suggest talking to Exige as well. His customer service and products are A+.
