i have two pansat 2700a boxes. both have the new b-75 276 bin. however, in one room both boxes do not pick up echo 8.6 sat. echo7 and echo3 working fine. the other room everything works fine. i have posted this before, and i appreciate the help given, but now i am totally lost. i have tried deleting the satelite and blind scan. still does not work. i believe the switch is bad or the coaxial cable is bad..(possible rain damage)my satelite is very high on roof, therefore it is difficult to tell what is going on up there. can someone please direct me in the right location to fix the problem in case i have to go on the roof. where do i buy a new switch?, do i just cut the cable and add new interface?, your help will be greatly appreciated

What happens when you switch the receivers from room to room?

I remember yor question
I asked yo to list all hardware but yo never did
Knowing what yo got is the only key to find faulty part otherwise all solutions will be nothing but guesses

PLEASE DON'T TELL ME YO GOT ONE DISEqC SWITCH TO 2 ROOMS
Don't tell me yo got SW21 from DN

List parts:
- 1
- 2
- 3
- 4 etc.

This is my best guess from the little info yo provided:
- Yo got 2 legacy LNBs
- The coaxial out of 110 going to second room is got bad connector possible short between shield and middle wire
- I don't think is a switch or cables but I can't rule out a damage on port 2 of switch as result of connector short
- Possible port mismatch

Now what if yo got twin LNBs???
Anytime yo got hardware problem yo must list all hardware details

I strongly advise yo
Look at coax connector from LNB or to switch observe any indications of rust, short, damage ON connector to coax going to room#2
