I have a jeep and go wheeling through some pretty extreme terrain. I'd hate to have a roll over and have my q15 become a projectile in my vehicle. Besides your standard L brackets are there any good mounting solutions for sub boxes out there? Ive been trying to find some hardwar that a 3rd row seat in an suv might use in order to make it easily removeable as well. Any you guys have any pictures how you might have done some thing like this? Appreciate any ideas you might have as well. Thanks.

I'd just go with some strong L brackets and bolts it to the floor with bolts with nuts on the other side. Use enough of them and it should hold.

I have an 08 unlimited (4 door wrangler). I have been trying to figure out another way to mount it besides flat on the floor. I'd like to make a down fireing sealed enclosure and maybe figure out some brackets that could elevate the enclosure a few inches that would utilize some form of "quick release". Even if the quick release was simply some butterfly nuts that can be quickly removed. I used to work with garage doors and I'm looking at some of the brackets I have left over and trying to mock up some ideas.

I was thinking of using 2 bracket, one that secures to the floor, some thing with a relatively low profile, and some thing secured to the enclosure, one that would elevate the box 2-3 inches, and can make a solid connection to the floor bracket with a pin or a bolt/butterfly nut. I like the butterfly nuts cause they can be tightened/loosened with your fingers. Some pins would be faster and have just as good or better sheer ratings but would rattle alot during daily driving. I also like the idea of using brackets that quick release seats use but I'm having trouble finding a complete set. I can find the panels that secure to the floor but the oppusing hooks are generally connected to a seat.
