So, we are pulling the 2 DD2515's out of Cory's 4 door dodge and rebuilding :-)

We have narrowed the new build down to 2 options.

A) 6 DD1512's
B) 8 DD512's

The amp will be an M3 either way...either at .67 (12's) or at .5 (10's).

The box will be the same also, just a different baffle. 12's would see ~1.9ea, 10's would see ~1.4ea. 35-38hz tuning.

So, what would you go with?

We have enough DD1512's in stock, but would have to order a few more DD510's.

We are starting the box today...just holding out on the baffle until we nail down exactly what we will do.

I'm gonna vote the 12"s just for that added low end.

I ment to say:

A) 6 DD1512's
B) 8 DD510's

8-10's vs 6-12's

I'm going on the looks aspect here....

Both would be impressive to see but the 8 10's (being more subs in motion) would look "cooler".

People were freaking out over my friends system at the last comp as he had 6 10"s in his SUV (hits 148db ish)

The m3 will produce around 2800 to 3100 with the new rating.

Can't go 4 15's.
The baffle is 56"x27"

10's or 12's will fit well.
We will prolly triple the baffle if we do 10's.

I think that people around here would be impressed more with 12s.

We have been joking around that Cory's new theme song could be:

"I got 6 12's"

lol
