I think I just killed the RCA outputs on my 860mp.
My window on the drivers sided messed up and wouldn't roll down. So I pulled the door panel and messed around w/ it for awhile. I had to cut some of my Dynamat off the access holes to get to the motor...ended up just being the plug on the motor was loose. Ok...all cool, thats fixed.
So...I as I put the panel back on the door, I hear "BUZZZZZZ....EEEEEEEEEEE". Muthafuk.
Turned on the HU...I have noise the the RCA's of the 860mp in the dash. Tried my 760mp in the toolbox...no noise
Looks like I may be stuck w/ the 760mp for awhile.
Tried regrounding the 860mp...no go. Tried grounding RCA sheilds...nothing.
Only thing I have not tried is new RCA's from the front HU to the amp in the back. Guess I'll open up the shop tomorrow and try that.
Hope the 860pm isn't fukt.
If it is...i'll just roll w/ the 760mp up front and use spades so I can disconnect it and take it to the toolbox for burps.
