That would be an SLI capable board with an E8400 intel processor and a pretty good video card with basic DDR2 ram and a 500gig hard drive. I just priced out the best bang for the buck rig and it was about 1100. |

My micro is pretty good but I can't compete with 400APM. If you're planning on playing SC2 you better get yourself quadcore for best results. Charlie, playing games on a laptop is silly no matter how good the laptop. |

Post Number: 8026 Registered: Jul-06 | Charlie if you really want to sneak a new PC in what you can do is change all the hardware in the case of your current PC. Then when you want to upgrade the case just mention that you want to get a cool case for your computer and then swap everything into your better performing and looking case  Although I don't encourage this behavior with a loved one it's your call. |
