Tuesday, April 22, 2008 - 04:27 GMT i found the wire to the alt to the battery. but the wire from the battery to the ground and the ground to the chasy seem to be like one wire it goes from the ground on the battery to the chaise and has a soldered place that grounds it like half way to the wire. is this right? its a vw golf 2000 if that helps any one

Tuesday, April 22, 2008 - 22:51 GMT I would use a bolt on the frame...the ground is the most important part...you're going to the effort so do it right the 1st time.

Tuesday, April 22, 2008 - 23:05 GMT a bolt on THE FRAME...not just a bolt on a flimsy piece of wheel well or something is your best bet.
