yea that show is the sh1t, wished i worked there!! lol, guess there useful in correct setups, r they just put it in there for the looks like the neon r the voltage reading source. pshhh i have a capacitor in my setup lol, cuz thats my only voltage reading source for now.
sigh caps.. a cap won't help the charging system.. once it is discharged it has to be charged again drawing juice from the battery.. its just one more step between the actual power source and the amp
... they do some nice work but sometimes they halfass builds.. i noticed their box designs are pretty bad
i just figured since they always total customizing of cars, that there would be some REASON in using a cap other than it just lighting up the place with the LEDs...
i agree on the boxes too. they always seem to be the same, or just thrown together. just thought i would throw it out there lol

1 That show sucks IMO, can't stand it
2 Their car audio installs really suck
3 I met one of the guys who used to be on that show for one season, at a local comp here. His name escapes me at the moment. Anyways he said that job sucked balls b/c Will was always bossing him around.
I think they do good looking work but I wouldnt want the speakers/amps/boxes they build. That place is so big now that people get them to do the work b/c of the popularity. You are paying for the name "Unique Autosports"
they prob started using jbl because jbl pays them to use there stuff on tv. Just like pimp my ride used mtx all the time cause they payed them to use them
aw but c'mon now its very entertaining to watch ...which other show has audio hook ups besides PMR
not everything they do will please every1 but i think they r not bad at all ...odd thing with their sub boxes is Remy doesnt use any screws but nails\fasteners - depends on glue to hold it
but hey if they r getting paid & nobody is complaining ...
