Since U already have a Nfusion...why buy a Neosat 2000...the Nfusion is a great receiver too..

Advantages of each..

Nfusion...better IKS, and more channels

Neosat...better PVR, and also more non IKS stand alone fixes other than IKS

BTW...the Captain 7000, 7100, and 8000HD have now began using IKS with a very simple adapter , the Dongo....and they also have non IKS cardless files too...get more info at [link removed]

Neosat 2000 has very fast software support for its stand alone, non IKS use..and with IKS, U don't even need "new bins" to update....

I don't know any unhappy Neosat 2000 owners..same with the Nfusion.

If your main interest is just PVR, then I suggest..

Conaxsat Duo or Trio
Viewsat Pro

Only Conaxsat Trio supports DIVX for PVR which is the major pros, however the cons is the very high price.

So it depends on how much you record on a permanent basis.

Bhatti - you are welcome

I must add that among Conaxsat models, Trio is the only one that supports DivX.

I am not sure if there are any other FTA receivers that support it.

May be a there is way to have DivX capability into a linux based FTA receiver, worth exploring if DivX is of importance to you.

Bhatti you are welcome. When you are finished, please post your findings since it will help someone looking for a receiver.

BTW I helped another friend in his decision to buy a PVR receiver who did not want to spend much, it was Captiveworks 700s.
