Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8791 Registered: Jun-04 | I need a amp kit cheap that is zero gauge with distribution block and a deal on the 0 gauge wire by itself because he needs 35 feet total...suggestions please |
Gold Member Username: Stateprop486PA Post Number: 1394 Registered: Jan-08 | how much is cheap? paul still has 40ft of 1/0 wire left. i believe. this is a great kit Kicker PKD1, 95.95 on ebay, comes with everything you need besides RCA. I dont know if thats a little pricey for u but just suggesting it.... |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8793 Registered: Jun-04 | well in all honesty its for my cousin and i doubt hes going to want to spend 100 bucks so what I thought might work is buy the amp kit first and ground it to the chassis and then later he can buy the second run of zero gauge...so based on that idea any suggestions...I was going to order the cheaper line stinger kit but it doesnt come with a distribution block and he needs that because the kicker 750.1 probably doesnt accept 0 gauge plus my bro said the rcas are a bad idea from stinger |

Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8794 Registered: Jun-04 | I know KnuKonceptz was the wire I was going to use but my cousin wants to compete in rookie 1 and they dont let you have over 0 gauge |

Gold Member Username: SomedonniedudeIllinois United States Post Number: 1374 Registered: May-07 | How do you figure that? |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8800 Registered: Jun-04 | "Why do you need 2 runs of 1/0 for a zx750? I'm guessing just to save money in the future?" yeah we want to save money on wire in the future but one run is for the power wire to the battery and another run is for the ground to the battery (better current flow) but with 80 amps I doubt it will improve much compared to just the chassis...down the road thats a different story (upgrades) and thats why my bro suggested a zero gauge ground to the battery |

Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8803 Registered: Jun-04 | how much is your wire Paul...he can only use up to zero gauge |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 7289 Registered: Jul-06 | 1/0 = 0 gague it's the same thing, as Troy said |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8805 Registered: Jun-04 | "It's the same thing boss. 1/0 is like 0, 2/0 is 00, 3/0 is 000, 4/0 is 0000. Gold Member Username: Stateprop486PA Post Number: 1422 Registered: Jan-08 | no 1/0 is saying 1 gauge wire turning into 0 gauge wire. 0 gauge is the highest.... |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 8806 Registered: Jun-04 | ok now KnuKonceptz klm wire is looking like the way to go because if we can cut back the wire lengths to 15 feet each from the battery that would only be 52.50 plus 8.50 shipping= $61.00 for 30 feet of 1/0 |
Platinum Member Username: WingmanaliveA pic is worth 1000 posts!! Post Number: 15793 Registered: Jun-06 | Yeah I paid $2/ft for the wire I have so it would be cheaper to go with Knu. Mine would be $60 before shipping. I'll hold onto it. |
