VS2000 Lite
Ok I got the new bin from totalfta. I tried to update the receiver using Loader2. It wouldn't update after several tries.
it currently has the march 5th bin. after turning on, it should start updating but instead i get Loader Error window. What can i do to update the receiver?

go try other sites and download the bins again.

many people here do not trust that site anymore.

good luck.

Have you used this cable before? It must be a null modem cable.

SENDING ZRQINIT message error...that was the missing link in your previous posts..

U have a communication problem between your receiver and computer...either bad/wrong cable or comport...check connections, try reerse cable...make sure its the right cable that came with the receiver..don't use USB ports unless u have an adapter and drivers...try all comports...check baud rate...etc..

U can also google that error message for additional hints to try..

Lord keep your receiver off (rear switch)
Check in tool and choose Port Com1 before
Click PC to STB and Switch on receiver

Take the Loader and Factory bin to viewsatusa.com for your box
Good luck
