Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 9603 Registered: Jun-06 | If you want to convert to LZMA_PUFF (same as PUFF_LZMA), download the Full_Kit_PUFF_LZMA_260B.zip from that directory Unzip in a separate directory in your computer and follow the instructions in that folder. |
Bronze Member Username: Snuffles07Post Number: 54 Registered: Jan-08 | O.K., are you sure you want me to use that for my Vortex Pro 7700 given the specifications I posted earlier? |
Bronze Member Username: Snuffles07Post Number: 55 Registered: Jan-08 | Also, if I have PUFF do I have to go back and boot 60 before I install LZMA_PUFF? |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 9612 Registered: Jun-06 | Your original receiver name is meaningless now that you are converted. You have b75, and just follow the instructions from section C onwards. |
New member Username: BohoPost Number: 6 Registered: Mar-08 | Hello Nalin, The last working bin file I had was 'Jvvh_254_Nkk Converted", which I gather needs to be updated. What is the next bin file I need to load on to my Fortec Lifetime Ultra.? If you have a link that would be great. Thanks in advance |
Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 9636 Registered: Jun-06 | You should check whether you have b75 or PUFF or PUFF_LMZA boot. when you turn on, if it shows b-7-5 scrolling it is b75, if P-U-F-F scrolling it is PUFF and if P-U-F-F. scrolling with a halt on last F. and period there (decimal point) it is LZMA. You can go into system info and see the name - it will have 75 for b75 or PUFF for PUFF or LMZA somewhere. Once you have decided what you have you can upgrade to 260 BIN. You can stay with the BIN for the BOOT you have or go up to PUFF_LMZA level. The choice is yours. Download the appropriate file and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS. Either b75 or PUFF or PUFF_ LMZA http://public.box.net/2500_full_kit |
