Simply cover it with a plastic garbage bag...

LK: Cover your head with a dark plastic bag. With or without the bag you are in total darkness anyway.
What the hell do YOU know about snow and protection from snow?

DON'T POST ANYTHING ABOUT SUBJECTS YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE OF

Get a can of cooking spray. Spray the dish. Snow will not stick.

This works well for snow throwers. For lawn mowers and tractors, it keeps the grass from sticking.

Good luck.

LK: YOU just SHUT UP.
People who live in snow countries know the answer. It seems you always have to interject with your idiocy.

Garbage bags are commonly used by intelligent people in winter months..

you can clean the snow off and slip a trash bag over it for the snow to slide off... signal will be fine as long as there is no really thick cloud cover or heavy precipitation between dish and satellite

We don't use them in Canada, where we have winds and far better tools for preventing snow from sticking.
So take your pills and stick the garbage bag over your head and lie down.

Nalin...U are not worth answering, cause U are RETARDED....know nothing about DSS and FTA...cause your job here is to kill FTA and the members here..

take all your nicks and aliases elsewhere, cause U have been exposed as the moles U are..and the no nothings that u all are too...

U can post BS BOGUS info all U want here...ONLY real newbies here will be uneducated enough to actually believe some of it...but once U kill their receivers, like u have many others, they will learn...U're game is over here Nalin the mole/admin..

LK: No amount of abuse hurled at me,
No amount of profanity,
No amount of lies,

Will enable you to get rid of me.

However, you should watch yourself with your fraudulent activity in ftaprosupport saga and in dssfta saga before that.

I'm in Canada, and according to my opinion:

It seems to be that snow on the dish is not a big problem, since the snow only accumulate on the lower side of the dish, and the signal is coming from above.

Offsets antenas, tends to be almost vertical when installed.

The only time lost signal is when it's raining, because small rain drops on the LNB's.
