Connect receiver to computer using a straight RS232 cable 2. Turn on racier and let it come to rest at ON or the last channel number 3. Save your current channel list. 4. If your channel list is more than 6 months old, skip all the above. 5. KEEP RECEIVER ON. Loading Boot60 6. Start 2700 to 2500 conversion software by Chancysand. 7. Select Boot in the Loader software. 8. Select Boot60 from the distributed software. 9. With the receiver ON, click on Write. 10. Wait for write to complete. 11. KEEP RECEIVER ON. 12. You will see horizontal night riders. DO NOT PANIC. 13. Close the 2700 to 2500 conversion loader and Loading Boot/BIN PUFF '" must use the 640K PUFF BOOT/BIN combo. 14. Start the BL 1.4 updater. 15. Select Chancy's or jvvh 253 boot/Bin 640K file. The file name must have the word PUFF in it. 16. With receiver ON, Select BIN in the Loader and start write BIN. 17. When it has loaded it will say BURN on the loader software . 18. DO NOT SWITCH OFF. 19. When BURN is completed, your receiver will reboot and sat P-U-F-F 20. Leave it on. 21. Wait till it stops PUFFing and says ON. 22. Now switch it off. Loading latest PUFF BIN. This is the part to be repeated in future with newer PUFF BINs. You will always use PUFF BINs clearly labeled PUFF 23. In the BL update 1.4, select the latest 254 PUFF BIN and select BIN in the loader. Keep right hand on mouse ready to write. 24. Turn on receiver at the back using left hand and as soon as you see P (of PUFF) scrolling, click on Write with right hand. 25. Again wait for BURN to take place and then the receiver will reboot, go through the P-U-F-F cycle and rest with ON showing. Loading Channels. 26. Now install the channels using channel master. 27. Disconnect from receiver and connect to your TV. Do user set up and attend to autoroll. 28. First thing '" do a user setup including date.time, time zone and turn closed caption off. Blind Scan if Channel list old or not available. 29. If your channel list is good, you may skip a blind scan, otherwise do a Blind scan of your sat '" just one sat first. 30. If keys do not autoroll, go into parental control (CAS menu) and click on 'Set Default key and wait for autoroll to load the keys. It takes about 2-3 minutes. 31. You must do switch Off and On at the back in between if things are not happening as they should.. |

I also have a this C/P from the Creative Genius-(supermod from another site) you may try. (see if the manual code search will work) I am posting full for your filing needs. Remote Control Setup for the CW700: Code input 1. Turn on the device which you planning to program 2. Find the code from the code list to match the brand of your device. 3. Press "SET" button until 3 seconds later, then LED will be light on. 4. Press the device function button( ex. TV), then the LED will light once. 5. Input the 3 digi code which matches the device in the list, the LED will blink once for each code. If the code is valid for this device, the LED will be off, means the code is fit for this device. If the code is not valid, the LED will be off after blink some times, means the code is not correct for this device, need to input new code. 6. Now to test whether the RCU can control the device, if can't, return back to the code setup procedure, and input other code that supposed to match this brand device, if all the code under this brand can't control this device, you need to try the following way by code searching, you may be able to find the code. 7. Write down the correct code for next time use. ###### Manual code search ########### Code searching means starting from the current device by pulsing 1 to continue search, one time "POWER" one time plus 1 to the code. 1. Press "SET" and hold it for 3 seconds, then LED will be light. 2. Press the function button (ex.TV) , LED will blink once 3. Aim the RCU to the device (ex. TV) and press "POWER" button, one time "POWER" you will get LED blink once. 4. When it switch off the device, means the code you input is correct, then press"EXIT" and save the code, LED will be off. If you have problems with tv and dvd hold SET down for 3 seconds while holding SET push TV or DVD while SET is being pushed. Led light on TV or DVD should stay on, then put code in. Here are a few examples of LK's recent attacks. Max Edout: LK gave false information that DP34 has a Port 4 input fro attaching 61.5 dish. when this person was confused about it LK abused him, and continued doing that. Plymouth: LK started with this man by being very nice and pally. Later when LK learned that this fellow might be very knowlegable about Sats, - abuse abuse - so much that Plymouth was forced to start a separate thread complaining about LK. You know very well that LK hates Pansats. A few months ago, LK and PR both attacked my thread about XORing in key entry. I had to start three threads to get the message accorss. Now I have messages and threads going, trying to help people with conversion from 2500 to 2700, and LK has t come in and start contradicting me in every thread I started. And she does no have a Pansat 2500 to try on. Two persons got convinced to start with the new BINs prematurely and had problems. Recenly LK tried to entice people joining Ftaprosupprt at a time when she knew there was something very fishy about it. Apparently somebody absconded with $20000 at that site. LK has already been suspended from dsscentral. No, fellows, I am not losing it. I have to stop this skimming devious person from abusing, cheating, etc. |

Jorge Cantu led off the next inning with another home run -- Florida's 23rd of the spring, tying the Dodgers for high among National League teams. Ramirez, Uggla and Cantu wound up with two hits each. Dodgers at the plate: Derek Lowe's sacrifice fly and Juan Pierre's two-run double cleared the bases in the second for a short-lived 3-0 lead. Pierre collected another single in the fourth, nudging his spring average to .217. Jason Repko hit a two-run homer in the ninth as the Dodgers closed within one. Marlins on the mound: Miller's biggest problem was evading the several balls batted back to the box. In four innings, the left-hander limited the Dodgers to those three second-inning runs. Logan Kensing, Lee Gardner and Doug Waechter followed him with a hitless inning each before Waechter ran into trouble in the ninth inning, his second frame. Joe Nelson cam eon with two on and two out to record the save. Dodgers on the mound: Lowe tried to sneak a first-pitch inside fastball past Uggla in the third, and paid for it when the Marlins' second baseman ripped it over the fence in the left-field power alley. Lowe did stretch out to five innings, allowing four runs and six hits, with one walk and seven strikeouts. Mike Myers and Joe Beimel pitched scoreless frames.  |

Going to Disney next week to catch a few games and to watch a concert or two at Epcot. They have the 60's concerts there this time of year. Going to see Mets and Braves play on the 27th at Champion Stadium, used to be called Cracker Jack which I though more appropriate. Glad to get on here and talk baseball where the conversations are generally a little more sane. Hope everyone has a great Easter Holiday. |
