Why? Double channel on viewsat with blind scan

It's not really a problem autoscan give me 133 channel blind scan give me 351 channel It's better to blind scan Now solution for it: Note your sat info and go in channel scan and delete sat in bottom, exit and return in antenna setup enter info you had note and exit and save and blind scan now you have all channel without double thats all Thanks |

Silver Member Username: LuserPost Number: 148 Registered: Nov-07 | If you look at the tp for each ch and one is V and one is H then likely you have DP lnb's and your getting regular and bandstacked. If this is true and you want the best possible scan/EPG do this. Go to lyngsat dot com get freq for sat tps then in channel scan menu check each manualy but for each horizonal subtract the # of the TP from 25600 and change it to vertical. Note: Lyngsat lists tps as L or R as opposed to H and V. Deal with it! |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 2635 Registered: Oct-06 | Plymouth What yo don't know is providers got 2 streams side by side from 2 satellites along with the 2 freq spectrums Lately I noticed the hide and seek frequency game Nagra also added frequency conditional access change as new keys roll in There is a lot more going on than yo and I can observe including unrepeated trial and errors many of them don't make too much sense at the moment which made me believe they are saving it to a later time |

The new solution for provider is not insert 01 06 00 in bin. Bad bin is on different sites. I see like you 2 freq for one channel both one on two is delete by itself. Warning it seem bin is not good on all site. King say if you went where you download your bin? Thanks |

Gold Member Username: RtapFL Post Number: 2068 Registered: Jan-07 | its normal to duplicate channels when you perform a blind scan on any receiver.a couple of things you can do to minimize this problem. 1- if using a switch bypass switch and run cable directly to dish and scan. 2 - make a channel list and save. |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 2637 Registered: Oct-06 | I tried all 3 bins Dsstester, totalfta, ftahq they are all indenticall the same all made from one source Sometimes older bins work well too Like I said above try loading when there is no high traffic Plymouth yo need to take it easy on other members RTAP was right about blind scan It's important to hear other members impact Yo are mixing few things about provider 0106 Lately DN has been quite with recent ECMs for unkown reasons Yo don't have freeze problems since yo deleted 0106 I also don't have feeze problems without deleting anything I think they are 2 isolated issues I'm still not sure what yo mean by this? Now i tried to delete sat and autoscan and i lost many channel, after i do a blind scan and many channel is lost. I decided to doing a hard reboot and boom "no channel on box" I reload last bin and scan all sat again and come back with the issue. |
